Islamabad Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2012

The 2^nd Edition of Islamabad Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2012 is slated to take place from:

DATE: April 10 to 12, 2012

VENUE: Pearl Continental, Rawalpindi

The Fashion Week is organized by Excellent Event & Entertainment (Triple-E) in association with theInternational Pakistan Fashion Council (IPFC); World Fashion Organization (WFO) and Europa Regina .

The Creative Consultant for the event is veteran hair & make-up stylist Tariq Amin and the choreographer is veteran,Pomme Gauhar.

Hair and make-up for male and female moels will be canvassed and styled by Islamabad-based stylist Jugnu of Jugnu’s Salon.

Female and male models from the 1^st Edition of Islamabad Fashion Week will participate with new models scouted from Lahore.

International Press will include representatives from CNN, BBC, Voice of America, Xinua, Reuters, AFP, APP amongst others including freelance fashion journalists from India, Italy and the US and the UK as well as representatives from leading Pakistani  news agencies and publications.

Twenty collections will be showcased over the three day period averaging 7 shows per day which will conclude.

ARSALAN & YAHSEER: In collaboration with Ministry of Industries, Arsalan & Yahseer are producing a collection using indigenous Sindhi material and embellishments and transposing them onto to contemporary men’s wear and women’s wear silhouettes.
